The Revolution Vision Statement
from Youth Pastor Alex MartinezWe at the Pentecostals of Gainesville have the greatest blessing of being pastored by One of the greatest men of God of our time. A man that has brought healing, hope and vision to many across the world. His vision for the Church he pastor’s is the following:"A church that operates in supernatural ways, healing the sick and speaking the Word of God with boldness. Impacting people on the streets, at the college, on their job. A church that walks with God allowing Him to manifest His glory through them."
If that doesn’t sounds Apostolic to you I don’t know what Bible version you are reading. The Church of the living Jesus Christ is not a building complex but rather a body of believers that have been changed by the hands of the potter and are willing to be continually changed and to be used whenever and wherever He desires to place us. It really doesn’ t matter where you are from, how old you are or how many mistakes you made; God wants to use you and I to reveal himself through His highest creation, believe it or not-that’s us.
The Apostle Peter said it like this when he preached the first Christian sermon ever heard, he said: “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith the God, I WILL POUR OUT OF MY SPIRIT UPON ALL FLESH: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy…” (Acts 2:16-18).
Can you see it? In the last days God said: He WILL pour out of his Spirit, upon ALL Flesh, my friend ALL means ALL, it is His desire to pour His eternal life, His abundant life, His everlasting POWER in all of us. Why? I’m glad you asked, He said it like this: and your sons and daughters shall prophesy! That means DECLARE, that means preach or make known! Proclaim What? That JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE! That He is still the same yesterday, today and forever. That He can change any situation in our lives, that He can turn around anything the enemy has created to destroy us. Oh yes He can!

David said it like this in Psalm 34: “ This pour man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles…O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Now you may be asking yourself: What in the world does this have to do with the Youth Group of the Pentecostals of Gainesville and all over the world? Well, it has everything to do, you see I believe in this last day revival one of the most important age groups that the LORD will use to reach humanity is the young people. The prophesy says it like this: “AND YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHECY, AND (WATCH) YOUR YOUNG MAN SHALL SEE VISIONS…” (ACTS 2:17)
Can you see it? Can you dig it? Comprendes? The young people will be a VERY important part of the last days revival! Will you like to be a part of this? Will you surrender your life to the one that created you so that he will use you in the thing He created you to do? Want a taste of this? When the LORD ask me the same question something inside me told me: “Doing this Christian thing is just to hard, don’t do it”
Yet deep inside he felt a calling, a still small voice of peace that said: “Come on, come to me” It took me a while, but I finally gave it up to Him, I repented of my sins, I was baptized in The Name of the One that died for me-that is Jesus, I put His name in Baptism as my old self was buried in the waters of baptism and He filled me with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Now I am a new man, old things are passed away, behold all things have become new.
What am I saying? He can do it for you too!!! It is his desire to do it! Micah 7:18 says “He delighted in mercy” It is His delight to show you His mercy! To help you, to forgive you, to turn your life around so He can you become a living billboard that he still is alive!
