The Difference began in 2001 with the vision of making a difference one friendship at a time. Jesus said, "I am a friend that sticks closer than a brother." Our goal is to allow the mercy, love and grace of God to flow through us so others may experience the love that God has for them.

We are a young group of apostolic believers who believe living for Jesus should be an exciting experience you will desire again and again. Ranging in ages from 18 - 30 and coming from many diverse backgrounds, our common ground is making a difference in the world in which we live.

We want to show others by the way we live and act that being a Christian is an exciting and rewarding lifestyle.

What We Believe We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. Faith in Jesus is the means by which a person is justified. At the same time, a sinner must believe the gospel; he is commanded to repent of his sinful life, to be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38; 4:12; 8:12-17; 10: 43-48; 19:1-6) Thus the various aspects of faith and obedience work together in God's grace to reconcile us to God.
